Gratitude (and good deals!)

This week marks the 7th month anniversary of when I launched Liminality full time. It has been a steep learning curve to step out of a 9-5 job and into the murky waters of being a small business owner. I have felt scared, overwhelmed and inadequate. But I have also felt immense joy, freedom, and excitement. I have felt like I'm in way over my head, and I have felt like I am in my element. Sometimes I feel like a fraud - like I am just "playing photographer" and someone soon is going to call my bluff. But sometimes when I am behind my camera and my heart is caught up in the beauty of the moment I am blessed to capture, I feel that this is where I belong and no one, in that moment, would be able to tell me otherwise.

But undeniably the word that sums up my feelings about the last 7 months is: gratitude. I am immensely grateful to be doing something I love and to get try to etch out a living doing it. I am grateful to all of the incredible people I have been honored to photograph. I am grateful to you, my friends and supporters who have encouraged me in this journey. Thank you.

So as a thank you I would like to give you all a good deal!

As 2010 comes to a close, so will my preliminary portfolio prices - my introductory rates to help me build a portfolio and gain more experience. So 2011 will start with my new price list.

But, for all of you (and anyone you tell about this!) if you book a sitting by December 31, 2010 you can lock in the 2010 prices...even if you're booking for a December 2011 shoot! So here's the deal:

Shoot me an email or give me a call and book a date between Dec. 2010 and Dec. 31 2011 and you can lock in 2010 prices. (That is a $100 savings on portraits - babies, families, seniors, engagements - and $500 savings on weddings!).

Gift Certificates (also with 2010 pricing) are also available if you want to give the gift of creative portraiture to friends and family. Purchase Gift Certificates
